Governance Model of the Sphera World Ecosystem
The Sphera World platform is committed to a decentralized governance model that empowers its community members to actively participate in the decision-making process. This model ensures that the development and future direction of the Sphera ecosystem are driven by its most engaged and invested stakeholders.
Tiered Governance Structure
1. Diamond Tier Sphera Heads
Highest Governance Rights: Holders of Diamond Tier Sphera Heads possess the most significant level of governance rights within the Sphera ecosystem. These rights include priority voting on major decisions, exclusive access to early-stage planning, and the ability to propose significant changes to the ecosystem with the ability to submit Sphera Proposals for Improvement (SPI) .
Strategic Influence: Diamond Tier holders play a crucial role in strategic decision-making, influencing the long-term vision and key operational aspects of the Sphera platform.
2. Sphera Heads
Enhanced Governance Rights: Holders of standard Sphera Heads enjoy enhanced governance rights. They can vote on a wide range of proposals concerning the ecosystem’s development and also have the ability to submit Sphera Proposals for Improvement (SPI).
Operational Input: Their votes significantly impact operational decisions, community engagement strategies, and minor platform updates.
3. Sphera Token Holders
Basic Governance Rights: Sphera token holders, while having the broadest base, hold fundamental governance rights. They can vote on broader ecosystem directives, including updates and community-driven initiatives.
Community Ecosystem Treasury: All tiers of governance have the right to vote on the allocation and use of the community ecosystem treasury, with proposals often initiated by higher tiers but requiring broader approval from token holders.
Voting and Proposals
Sphera Proposals for Improvement (SPI)
Proposal Submission: Members of the Sphera community, especially those holding Sphera Heads and Diamond Tier Sphera Heads, are encouraged to submit proposals (SPIs) for any aspect they believe will improve the platform.
Community Voting: Proposals are discussed and voted on by the community. The weight of the vote may differ based on the tier of governance, with Diamond Tier votes having greater influence.
Decentralization and Community Participation
Full Decentralization Goal: The ultimate aim of the Sphera World governance model is to achieve full decentralization, handing over the stewardship and future development of the platform to the community.
Engagement and Inclusion: Regular town halls, forums, and discussion boards will be organized to ensure an inclusive governance environment where every voice can be heard.
Implementation and Oversight
Governance Committee
A Governance Committee comprising members from all tiers will oversee the implementation of successful proposals, ensuring that they align with the community’s interests and the platform’s integrity.
This committee will also be responsible for scheduling votes, verifying outcomes, and communicating results to the community.
Transparency and Accountability
Regular governance updates, audit reports, and transparency logs will be published to maintain accountability.
Feedback mechanisms will be implemented to assess the effectiveness of the governance model and make necessary adjustments based on community input.
By establishing a tiered, inclusive governance model, Sphera World aims to foster a community-led ecosystem where every member has a role in shaping the platform’s present and future. This approach not only enhances user engagement but also ensures that the platform evolves in a way that is most beneficial to those it serves.
